Each mini tutorial will focus on a hack, protip, or tactic that the presenter uses in their work. Our goal is to spark creativity while teaching each other. Some of the topics we'll cover include:

Animated Infographics: Nancy Casanova, Information Architect and Social Strategy at Southern California Edison.

Virtual Reality: Penelope or America Lopez, Founders and Developers at CyberCodeTwins.

Github: Machiko Yasuda, Product Engineer at GOAT.

AWS Deployment w/ the Serverless Framework: Kim Merino, Javascript Architect at Accenture.

Relationship Management & Connecting with People: Shmel Graham, Director of Operations Innovation Team at Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Drupal 8, an advanced Content Management System: Mario Hernandez, Senior Front-End Developer at Mediacurrent and Co-Founder of Government By Design.

System Maintenance and Architecture: Tamara Gagliardi, System Engineer in DNS and Load Balancers at Yahoo.

APIs: Angello Pozo, Software Developer at Vixlet.

SQL Syntax and JOINS 101: Juan Vasquez, Data Strategist at Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

We have badass presenters teed up to give us a peak into their area of expertise. Halfway through we will take a networking break. Limited wine/beer and snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring a bottle of your favorite whatever or some snacks, no pressure either way.
